Lowry, (Denver) Colorado
Hi, I'm Amanda Halliday and I opened the Lowry area chapter as an extension of the purpose of Ways to Optimize - Connecting You a Healthy, Fun, Vibrant Life. Our events offer a way for women in my community to have fun and connect with one another. It provides them exposure to different wellness practitioners and businesses from my own sphere that can enhance their lives.
My vision for my business is to cut through nutrition confusion and offer personalized, real-world solutions. I seek to help people who are really hungry to make changes in their nutrition in order to reach their optimum selves. I provide the support and connection needed to implement real change for a healthy, vibrant, fun life.
I have been working in the nutrition field since 2007, empowering individuals and groups to take charge of their own health and become the best version of themselves that they can be. I regularly present health seminars on different nutrition topics to create awareness and to educate people about how they can use a more natural approach to tackle common ailments. I take a clinical and functional approach to nutrition to get to the core of the issue. I coach 'anti-diet' programs to help people adopt a new lifestyle that they can sustain for the long term, providing the education, accountability and motivation needed to keep people on track. I take a pragmatic approach and loves to make this complicated area simple for people to put into practice so that they can be successful.
I was born and raised in London, England and now lives in Denver, Colorado with my daughter. I practice what I teach and am passionate about keeping myself and my family healthy with great nutrition and by keeping active. I have a passion for singing, especially with my daughter, and loves to help kids with math. I also enjoy yoga, the gym, skiing, movies, art, travel and good food.
To Contact Amanda:
I discovered Five-Element Acupuncture 18 years ago when a friend recommended I check it out for depression.
Immediately, I felt that I had stumbled on to something special. I felt I was finally heard and really seen in a rare and special way. My Acupuncturist helped me see myself through her eyes and to own the good and the difficult. After 8-10 weeks of working with Emily I awoke one day and realized the subtle changes in me and my outlook on the world.
The world was a better place.
When I retired from teaching and was looking for a new direction Five-Element Acupuncture was a natural choice.
The Body, the Mind, and the Spirit are intimately and inextricably linked. If a person is ill, you can’t just treat the body and expect results. We must treat the Body, the Mind, and the Spirit as a whole, and when you do this, people can reach a fuller and deeper sense of health and well-being. Classical Five-Element Acupuncture is based on nature, restoring balance and harmonizing one’s self with the world. The purpose is to get to the root cause of your symptoms through individually designed treatments.
My dream is that everyone in the world can receive the healing treatment that provides movement toward their overall well-being!
I look forward to helping you facilitate your health and healing process!
